The Ritual Boxes
Challenge: Creating a premium, giftable packaging solution that not only felt elevated but also efficiently grouped products into distinct skincare rituals: The Cleanse Ritual, The Hydrate Ritual, and The Longevity Ritual; all while maintaining cost-effectiveness and brand cohesion.I conceptualized and designed the packaging for the Ritual Boxes, creating an elegant sleeve for each set that translated the unique character of every ritual into a distinct yet cohesive visual language. The goal was for a customer to be able to identify their ritual instantly, while still feeling like each box belonged to the same thoughtfully crafted world.

The set was completed with a custom postcard I designed to extend the brand's storytelling beyond the product itself, offering customers a guided, personal introduction to their skincare journey in a format they could hold onto.

For the launch, I led the full photography production, building a visual library across e-commerce, PDP, and social media that mirrored the same care and consistency of the packaging.

Each box included a special collaboration with hibi, a Japanese brand renowned for its 10-minute incense sticks, which offer a sensorial companion to skincare routines. I oversaw the integration of this product into our packaging concept, ensuring a seamless brand alignment.

This Place New Skincare Line Launch
Challenge: Most skincare campaigns default to an overly polished aesthetic that feels aspirational at the cost of feeling real, creating distance between the brand and the people it’s trying to reach.
I pioneered a community-driven casting approach, selecting brand followers as models to foster inclusivity and authenticity. By directing organic photography and cohesive packaging design, I ensured a compelling and relatable brand experience.

As the Creative Lead, I held full ownership of the visual identity and creative execution for this skincare line, building a brand world that was cohesive and compelling across every consumer touchpoint.

I directed and supervised both product and lifestyle shoots end-to-end, personally guiding the art direction for model talent and still-life imagery. The resulting asset library was then strategically deployed across digital, retail, and social platforms, maintaining consistent brand integrity at every level.

My involvement extended well beyond the studio. I led the model casting process with a deliberate focus on authentic representation, handpicking loyal brand followers whose genuine connection to the product helped strengthen consumer trust and brand credibility.

On the packaging and print side, I drove the development of product cards from concept through to final publication, making sure every piece aligned with the broader visual system and was delivered to the product portfolio to a high standard of craft and consistency.

The Glow NakedChallenge: Creating a campaign that not only promoted the product but also reinforced the brand’s stance on unretouched photography. From idea to execution, I created and launched the 'Unretouched' campaign, amplifying it through advertorials in leading publications and dynamic video assets across Frankfurt Airport's high-traffic areas.

For this campaign, I led the asset creation process, from conceptualizing visuals to photographing both models and mood shots. I produced the animation for the launch and executed a multi-platform advertising strategy, securing features in top publications such as Grazia, OK!, Für Sie, Petra, and Jolie.

The campaign extended into out-of-home, with video content I produced running across six Mega LED screens and 116 Baggage Claim screens throughout Frankfurt Airport.

To emphasize the brand’s commitment to transparency, I designed the “Unretouched” visual stamp to indicate that all model images remained untouched, setting a new standard in photographic integrity in beauty/skincare industry.

VAAY Pop-Up Store OpeningChallenge: Creating a buzz-worthy launch that reflected VAAY’s playful yet premium brand identity. For the VAAY Pop-Up Store opening, I shaped the creative identity across print, packaging, and event materials. I designed the wild posters and street-level marketing materials that built anticipation ahead of the event, and conceptualized a custom beer packaging giveaway that became a tangible, memorable expression of the brand's personality on the night.
The work extended beyond the opening. I refined the packaging across VAAY's core product line, reworking the typography, finish, and structural details to bring every product in line with the brand's premium positioning.

This Place Summer CampaignChallenge: Working within a well-established brand world, the creative had to feel fresh enough to cut through a saturated category while remaining coherent with everything the brand had already built. In a high-visibility format like a TVC, that balance is harder to strike than it sounds.Steered the creative and conceptual direction of the brand's summer TVC campaign, shaping the overall mood and narrative from the ground up. Working closely with the production team, I ensured visual and motion assets stayed coherent with the brand's existing language, reinforcing a consistent and engaging story across every frame.

This Place x Lanserhof: The Mineral BathChallenge: Visually translating the brand’s core product range into a single, cohesive illustration for an exclusive collaboration. For an exclusive collaboration with Lanserhof, I developed the overarching creative concept and produced a bespoke illustration that brought the brand's core product range to life within a single, cohesive artwork.

Each element of the illustration was thoughtfully crafted to represent four hero products: The Glow, The Blissful Day, The Hug, and The Good Night. The color palette was carefully considered to reflect the essence of each product, creating a visual language that felt both intuitive and distinctive.

Alongside the illustration, I art-directed the full photography production, ensuring a refined and premium aesthetic that carried consistently across launch materials and social media.

Editorial Design: GATHERINGChallenge: Capturing the living, breathing culture of Berlin's Mauerpark in an editorial format that felt as dynamic and layered as the place itself.'Gathering' was an editorial concept I conceived, photographed, and designed from the ground up. The publication explored Mauerpark through distinct chapters, each dedicated to a different facet of the space, from the Flea Market and Graffiti Wall to Bearpit Karaoke and Sports and Leisure. The goal was to capture not just what the park looks like, but what it feels like to be there.

Every design decision, from typography and grid structure to pacing and image selection, was made to reflect the spontaneous yet layered nature of the park. The result was a publication that felt less like a designed object and more like a document of a living, breathing place.

The Intense GlowChallenge: Ensuring the new product line maintained a cohesive visual identity with the brand’s flagship products while differentiating itself in the market.I led the end-to-end creative development for The Intense Glow bundle, spanning three products: The Glow, The Morning Glow, and The Evening Glow.

My scope covered both primary and secondary packaging design, extending the brand's flagship aesthetic into the new line with a cohesive and considered visual language. For the launch, I personally shot and art-directed the full photography, getting behind the camera to build a visual library that carried the same standard across every platform.

On the campaign side, I devised and executed a strategy across digital and print, producing advertorials for key publications and coordinating digital screen placements including City Lights activations that brought the brand into high-visibility urban spaces.

This Place x Johanna Gullichsen: Your Self-Care KeeperChallenge: Designing an eco-conscious packaging solution that complemented the pouch without excessive materials. In collaboration with Finnish textile designer Johanna Gullichsen, I co-designed a sophisticated and functional cosmetic pouch that balanced craft and practicality.

A key part of my contribution was solving the packaging. Rather than defaulting to excess, I designed a sleek packaging sleeve that complemented the pouch while keeping the brand's eco-conscious values intact. It was a minimal solution, but one that felt considered and premium.

I also led all content creation and photography for the launch, shaping a visual presentation that was consistent, refined, and true to the collaboration's high-end spirit.
